The Independent Audio team was up bright and early for a trip to NYC. Stopping in Stamford, CT for a meeting with Bob Dixon, Director of Sound Design and Communications for the NBC Olympics, and his team to discuss and demonstrate the use of Merging Technologies Ovation Q sequencer. The engineers at NBC were very impressed by Ovations’ power, features, and facilities and look forward to using the Ovation in London for the 2012 Games. The team then carried on to NYC to meet with dealer, Dale Pro Audio, and yet again impressed those present. Tuesday was another early start with a meeting at PRG in Secaucus, New Jersey. PRG supplies all of the sound, lights, sets, and video for all the Broadway shows, and is very interested in using Ovation to run its shows. A canceled meeting with Blackbird ended the trip early allowing the team to head back to Maine providing the team time to get in a game of Disc golf.
